Family Country House with Pool & Tennis Court

Fabulous Family home set in over an acre of garden with swimming pool, tennis court, children’s play area, trampoline, fire pit, outdoor dining area & barbecue. Situated in a beautiful village just outside Henley-on-Thames (3 miles) and just a short walk from the local village pub. There are lots of wonderful country walks on the doorstep from the local woodland to the Chiltern Way. Central London is only 25 minutes by train from Twyford (at peak times), a 10 minute drive away. A large family home consisting of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, ‘snug’ TV room, playroom and large (fully equipped) family kitchen with rangemaster oven, American fridge freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher and a separate utility space for laundry and pets to sleep. We have a (very well stocked!) play room that you are welcome to use, but please bear in mind this is our family home so please be respectful of our toys, games and personal possessions. There is a bright and spacious formal living room as well as a ‘snug’ tv room for cosy movie nights. There is a desk should you need to ‘work from home’ during your stay and the recent installation of ultra fast fibre broadband means you can connect to the office with ease (although we do hope you will relax and have fun whilst here!) Upstairs there is a master bedroom (super king bed) with en suite bathroom, two children’s bunk rooms, a family bathroom and a further en suite double bedroom with super king bed. A travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request. Outside is a children’s (& adults!) paradise with a climbing frame, sandpit, swing set and trampoline. Further fun awaits as at the end of the garden is a den building area. Enjoy a friendly knock about or fierce competition down on the tennis court. We can recommend a great local tennis coach should you want to have some lessons whilst here. Or maybe a refreshing dip and afternoon of fun in the heated swimming pool. Please note pool not available October to April as closed for the winter months. There is an outdoor dining area and sofa seating in amongst the trees with fire pit for marshmallow toasting. We have a dog who lives at the property (although she will not be here when you are). Well behaved dogs are welcome but please pick up after your pets. This is a no smoking property. Close to Henley on Thames, Marlow, Twyford & Windsor and all the attractions of the Thames Valley with the River Thames on the doorstep. Trains to Central London for days / nights out are 45 minutes from Maidenhead (15 mins to station and fast trains <25 mins to Paddington). The ambience is peaceful and restful with the only sounds being wind in the trees and the sheep in the nearby fields.
