There are three pubs in the village all within walking distance (the furthest is just over half a mile away) We have a shop with a good stock of all essentials including daily newspapers, and a post office. Orsett Hall Hotel is also near us, which has some very nice restaurants/café. We also have a very good Indian Restaurant within walking distance with good reviews. We have a bus route through the village and are within five and a half miles of two train stations ( 35 minutes train ride into London) We are close to A13, A127 and M25 and Lakeside shopping centre is 5.7 miles away. If you enjoy cycling/walking, there are some enjoyable local routes for both.
