Palheiros do Castelo (Castle Cottages) started with a “haystack” and a garden. A Cottage made of schist and granite used as a haystack and a patio overlooking the river Coa. Castle Cottages was born within the walls of the castle of Sabugal from the passion for the first sight of that patio. A project of Rural Tourism and promotion of our culture and heritage grounded on the recovery of stone cottages and barns.
