A quality barn conversion Bramley, near Guildford

The Piggery is a cosy barn of 530sqft with exposed oak beams and flagstone floors that sleeps two people. Located in a small hamlet on the edge of Bramley village, within an area of great landscape value, just off the A281. It has easy access to numerous good pubs, walking and cycling in the beautiful countryside. The river Wey is a 5 minute walk from a footpath directly from our house. The Piggery, reconstructed in 2015 , has an open-plan living area that was converted from an old piggery structure and has wonderful exposed beams. The main living space is open plan and has a dining area, fully fitted kitchen and lounge area. There is a wall mounted HD smart TV. The kitchen has a full size gas range, microwave, dishwasher,espresso machine and it’s own washing machine.Off the hallway, the bedroom has a comfortable king sized double bed and plenty of space for a travel cot - we can provide one if needed, along with a high chair. The shower room is modern with a high flow rain shower. All of the rooms are underfloor heated and on ground floor level. All lighting is dimmable and the barn has WiFi throughout. The barn is located 2 miles from Guildford in the 9 acre grounds of our house, and is accessed via its own private entrance. There is ample parking for your cars in the courtyard.We can provide locked, indoor storage for bicycles if required.There is a dedicated outdoor seating area for you to enjoy the private unrestricted views which look out over our fields towards Peasmarsh and Charterhouse School .A BBQ is available during summer. The self contained Piggery is attached to our Manor House. Check in, is via a dedicated key box. We're here to help if you need us, just knock on the door and ask. Otherwise we will leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the barn. Clair’s place is located on the outskirts of Bramley,United Kingdom. Bramley is a thriving and friendly village just two miles south of Guildford and in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Piggery is located within easy reach of two village pubs, village shop, coffee shops, barbers, butchers, grocers, picture gallery and antique shop. The footpath on our doorstep gives excellent access to walking and cycling in the area. It's a short walk to the towpath along the River Wey. Our location is an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful Surrey Hills. Various National Trust properties are nearby: Winkworth Arboretum, Hatchlands Park, Dapdune Wharf and Shalford Mill. We're also close to Loseley Park with its beautiful house and garden. The RHS garden at Wisley is a short drive away. Guildford offers a wide range of shops and recreational facilities. Godalming and Cranleigh are also busy towns nearby. There are various golf courses in the area. Bramley golf course is a 5 minute walk. A car or bicycle is best so that you can explore. But Bramley has good bus links to Guildford and has a beautiful walk along the tow path into town. We are a short taxi or bus ride from Guildford railway station. Please note, we have a private swimming pool in our grounds, which isn’t enclosed and not for use by guests. Young children therefore need to be monitored by an adult.
