Pilstyes B&B, Lindfield, sussex

Pilstyes, a tudor cottage has 1 double en suite room. Lindfield is convenient Gatwick/Brighton/London. Shops, pubs, restaurants. Off street parking. Scrumpius Breakfasts in sunny kitchen. Free wifi. Price is for 2 people sharing. We are fully insured for paying guests to stay in our home including public liability. We are also inspected annually by our local environment department at Mid sussex Council and have the top rating of 5. Our house is 400 years old. We have deeds that refer to it being built around 1575!! It is a timber framed house sitting on a sandstone base and has a Horsham slate roof. It is a unique house set in the north end of Lindfield's famous high street. We have secure off-street parking which is unusual for the High Street. The house is centrally heated and the heating is on 24/7 - you control the temperature in your room. Our bedrooms are very spacious and very clean and we have snowy white, beautifully laundered sheets. Plus of course we provide dressing gowns, soaps and shampoos, etc. There is a tea tray with fresh milk every morning for an early morning cup of tea and biscuits or coffee, etc if you prefer in the bedrooms. The price includes continental breakfast. Guests have their room with en suite bathroom. Use of the sitting room with Sky TV and breakfast, which we make to order, is served in our sunny kitchen. We have a lovely garden where guests are welcome to sit and of course we are happy to supply a nice cup of tea and biscuits. We interact with our guests as much or as little as they wish. Many of our overseas visitors are interested in our lives and what we do and also some want to improve/practice their English and so like to have a chat, etc. If needs be our sign language is good but the bottom line is we are outgoing, happy and friendly people. Lindfield is a great place to stay. We have good pubs with good food to suit all pockets. Traditional English (The Bent Arms) , Good Pub grub(Red Lion), Bistro (The Limes), Italian (Paolino's) and a Gastro Pub (The Witch). Great boutique shops. All individual, Great Clothes, Presents, Best toy shop in Sussex just to mention a few. Haywards Heath railway station is only a 5 minute taxi drive away. There are regular buses to the station too or into Haywards Heath town centre. Gatwick airport is half an hour away and Brighton is 15 miles. London is only 45 minutes by train. We often eat/go to a show in London and get home by midnight. We speak fairly good French.
