Rottenburg-Wendelsheim is a cute village in a green environment with a lot of signed hiking paths and an idyllic small lake on a nearby hill in the middle of a forrest. The lake is called "Märchensee" (enchanted lake) due to its location. Rottenburg, a more than a thousand years old roman founded city is only 3 km away. The Romantic city Tuebingen, an old university town, has a magnificent river side and a beautiful old town. It also has a great night life due to many international students and offers everything one can expect in culture and culinary specialities. Tübingen is only 15 minutes away by car (10 km), Rottenburg only 3 km. Bus line 18 brings you to Rottenburg and Tübingen (bus stop 50 meters away)!
