The house is a low-rise building with 2 separate bedrooms, a living room that divides the fully furnished kitchen section in a country style with a room divider, with corner bench, dining table and chairs from the living room. City of Königstein with fortress Königstein The Königstein Fortress rises 361 meters above the Elbe. If you stand at the foot of the Königstein Fortress, you can already imagine the impregnability of this fortress. In order to make the mountain habitable at all, in the second half of the 16th Century, a 152.47 meter deep well was dug on the Königstein and in 1586 the first waterlift was installed, the large pedal wheel of which was set in motion by soldiers and front workers until 1871. The fountain is in a fountain house built by Jean de Bodt in 1735. Over 750 years of history have made the Königstein Fortress an impressive monument, which you should plan to visit for several hours.
