Predjama Mill Apartments Jager is located in the immediate vicinity of Predjama Castle (100 m) and only 10 km away from Postojna Cave. Once only the ruin of an old (medieval) mill, is today modern renovated holiday home, with two apartments. It is preserved in the image of the original mill. Next to it is a running stream, that offers a refreshing cool breeze in summer. Visitors can admire the beautifully landscaped and peaceful surroundings covered with meadows and fruit trees. Once a ruin of an old (medieval) mill is today a modern renovated holiday home, which maintains appearance of the original mill - without mechanism. A stream, that use to be a millrace, runs next to the mill and offers a refreshing cool breeze in summer. Visitors can admire the beautifully landscaped and peaceful surroundings covered with meadows and fruit trees. They can also experience rich and picturesque history of the nearby and wider surroundings, while this is also an excellent starting point for hikers and cyclists. Two private parking spaces are arranged in front of the Mill, so that you can walk the hiking trails without having to worry about your car. If you are coming by car, there is a private parking available in front of the Mill, offering two parking spaces and it's free of charge. You reach the apartment via stairs one floor below the parking space, go behind a house and you will find an entrance. Mostly we are not available at the premises, but can be reached over phone, e-mail or in person if need be (we live near by). We can offer suggestions on tourist attractions and other activities. When arriving in Predjama you will quickly come to Predjama Castle parking space. To get to mill you need to cross this parking space. In some cases you will need to talk with parking attendant to let him know where you are going and he will let you thru. You can get around by foot, bicycle (rent-a-bike), your own car or Hop On (guided tours for tourists on weekends - till end of September).
