My place is about 2 miles from Wells Next the Sea . You’ll love my place because Rose Cottage is a traditional brick and flint country cottage . My place is great for couples, families (with kids), and a dog From March to October we can only take Friday to Friday bookings Rose cottage is a charming and homely two bedroom period cottage tucked away in a delightful village location. The spacious yet cosy accommodation comprises; Bespoke fitted kitchen, a cosy beamed sitting room with log burner and separate dining room. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, double with ensuite shower room and a twin bedroom complemented with a family bathroom. There is also a ground floor utility with WC. We do allow pets as long as they are well behaved but contact us first. To the front of the cottage is an enclosed garden mainly laid to grass, with a seating area and parking for two cars. An enclosed rear garden with lawn and patio is ideal for alfresco dining. Wighton is an sleepy rural village between 2 and 3 miles from the Wells next the sea and the lovely beach there. There is an art gallery in the village and it’s home to the renowned Mrs Temple’s Cheese Rooms which produce some delicious farmhouse cheese. The local pub, The Carpenter’s Arms, is short strole from the cottage The village is known for it’s spectacular Scarecrow Festival which is held each year over the May Bank Holiday – and for its live scarecrows that are pleased to greet everyone over that period! The popular seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea is only 2 miles away has an impressive golden sandy beach backed by colourful beach huts, sand dunes and pine trees. Norfolk’s stunning heritage coastline is just a few miles away. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the region offers Holkham Hall, Morson Quay and Blakeney Quay are in easy reach with popular seal colonys, RSPB and nature reserves. The historical market towns of Burnham Market and Holt are a short drive away. closer to Rose cottage the age-old village of Walsingham with the Wells and Walsingham railway passing through Wighton is a must. The cottage is for your sole use, although the owners do require pedestrian access to the garage to get to a separate annexe. this will not affect your parking. In addition the grass is cut usually once a week, if you have any questions regarding this please ask.
