Located within the exclusive Packet Quays waterfront development in the heart of Falmouth. The development takes its name from the famous 17th century Falmouth Packet ships that conveyed post around the world and made Falmouth an information hub second only to London in England. In addition to the stunning views, the apartment is conveniently located with just a short walk down the High Street into Falmouth town centre with its fine choice of shops, restaurants, bars, galleries & other attractions. The Royal Cornwall Yacht Club and Prince of Wales Pier are both nearby with the latter offering boat trips to picturesque St Mawes, on the Roseland Peninsula, Truro or the Helford River as well as the regular ferry across to Flushing. The nearest bars and restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk from your front door. Aggetts Dawn is all on one level, although there are almost 40 steps up to the front door from the secure parking area and a similar number down from the High Street. The open plan living room and balcony take in the wonderful seascape from Flushing across Falmouth harbour, the third deepest natural harbour in the world, and on to the Roseland peninsula in the distance. The apartment is presented to a high standard by the owner and offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. There is a master suite with 5' king size bed which has its own balcony along with ensuite shower room with the second bedroom having flexible twin zip and link beds. Within the Packet Quays development there is small communal garden with seating overlooking the ever changing inner harbour and private beach. Both this and the private slipway which is close by can be used by guests during their stay and is shared with other residents. Accommodation Ground Floor: Enter into the open plan living/dining area, sliding door onto main balcony, comfortable corner sofa, table and chairs, flat screen TV. Galley kitchen with fully fitted units and appliances. Master bedroom with 5' king size bed and storage, private balcony, ensuite shower room with WC and hand basin. Twin bedroom with 3' zip & link beds which can be combined into a 6' super king, storage, double aspect corner window. Family bathroom with shower over the bath, WC and hand basin. Exterior: Main balcony with table and chairs, private balcony from master bedroom with exterior furniture. Facilities & Services Full gas-fired central heating throughout. The kitchen has a range of modern units with an electric oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher, combined fridge/freezer. There is a combined washer/dryer. The sitting room has a digital Smart TV. There is an iron with ironing board and a hair dryer. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, however you must bring your own beach towels. There is a designated parking space in a secure covered communal garage which is suitable for a medium sized car or smaller. There is no parking apart from this garage other than on nearby roads or in public car parks if you have larger vehicle. We regret no smoking is permitted within the property and no dogs are allowed at Aggetts Dawn. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is a Saturday. £250 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required. Short breaks may be available during quieter times of the year.
