It's an ideal location for accessing Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, historic Warwick and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC); the beautiful Cotswolds are only half an hour away. This is also great walking/cycling country and there are National Trust properties aplenty! There is parking for one vehicle right below your accommodation with winding outdoor steps up to your private garden patio and entrance. Set in the countryside you're surrounded by wildlife and may even see the badgers coming to feed throughout the evening! I'm only next door should you need anything and you'll have my mobile number to contact me on if I'm not around. The Roost is a private retreat in the heart of a delightful village. In 2 minutes you can walk to the Fleur de Lys pub for great canal side food and drinks and there are super gastro pubs a couple miles away in every direction! The Roost aims to provide a great base for a wide range of activities as well as the perfect bolt-hole for those preferring to hunker down and relax for a while. From the village there are super walks in any direction - along the country lanes, down the Stratford-upon-Avon canal or across the fields on a network of footpaths. By car, the local shop in Shrewley is 2 miles away; Warwick is 8 miles, Solihull 9 miles and Stratford-upon-Avon is 10 miles. Whilst animals don't stay as guests at The Roost you're pretty much surrounded! Along with the local wildlife and passing horse riders, you may aware of my dear black lab on occasion or get a visit from one of my cats!
