We are available for any questions The holidayhouse is located 1.5 kilometers outside the village of Hooghalen (9 kilometers from Assen) in the heart of the Drenthe Highlands. All amenities (bakery, supermarket, bicycle repair shop, gas station, etc.) are present. The house is close to the memorial center of the former camp Westerbork. This was a transit camp for Jews during the Second World War. You can visit the museum and there are daily tours. 2 km away is a bus stop. Train is 9 kilometers (Assen).
