Oxford, Bicester Village, Blenheim Palace & Waddesdon Manor are all within 20 mins, so you're in a perfect position to enjoy the scenery with a great range of things to do nearby. * Host My House manages this property which is owned by Sarah & Alastair Paterson * THE GUESTHOUSE This beautifully renovated guesthouse consists of: - A fully equipped open plan kitchen with washer-dryer, fridge with freezer compartment, hob, oven, microwave, pots, pans, crockery and utensils - Stylish living/dining room with large comfortable sofa and smart TV - Cosy bedroom with double bed and large built in wardrobe - Modern and bright bathroom with power shower, luxury toiletries and soft fluffy towels - French doors lead out onto a private sunny patio/seating area with an outdoor sofa and bistro set - Free parking is available on the drive of the main house - Good quality WiFi with 45 Mbps download speeds and 48 Mbps upload speeds The owners, Sarah & Alastair, live just next door in the main house and are always happy to help with anything you might need during your stay. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request. Please let us know when you book. LOCATION Fencott is a truly peaceful rural spot with stunning countryside scenery and footpath/bridleway walks, but is also in the perfect position to explore what the local area has to offer, such as: - The Nut Tree Inn (a Michelin starred restaurant and pub) is just down the road along with a selection of other great places to eat and drink nearby. - If you're looking for a spot of retail therapy, the famous Bicester Retail Village is a short 15 min drive away with all the designer brands at discounted prices for you to enjoy! - Visit Oxford and explore the Covered Market, Westgate Centre, the Oxford Colleges, Ashmolean or Natural History Museums, etc. Or hire a punt/rowing boat from The Cherwell or Magdalen Bridge Boathouse. - Woodstock, and Blenheim Palace (the birthplace on Winston Churchill), is only a short drive away and is the venue to many brilliant events, such as: => The Christmas Markets => The Illuminated Light Trail => The Blenheim Flower Show => Countryfile Live => The Blenheim Triathlon => Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials => Battle Proms Picnic Concert And many more! - The nearby village of Brill is just 6 miles away and has stunning views, a famous windmill, some excellent pubs and local amenities. - The market town of Thame is a 20 min drive away. Travelling by car is recommended as there are no local buses. Trains into London leave from Oxford Parkway which is approximately 8 miles from Fencott.
