A relaxing and private detached 1 bed converted Barn with Hot tub in a country lane overlooking a field. Regarding Covid-19: I have an extensive cleaning plan in place and will be at a distance in the garden when welcoming you. The key will be inside on the kitchen counter as opposed to me handing it over. Please ask me any questions, I’m here to help. Guests have sole use of Barn, Hot Tub, garden and carport. You do not share with anyone else, the whole place is yours. The Barn has its own access and entrance with double carport (195cm high), private garden with Hot Tub all enclosed with high hedges and fencing which reaches to the ground making it perfectly safe for dogs to run around the barn and garden to their hearts content. The Hot Tub is huge with 6 seats, jets, lights and is on all year round. The garden also has a large terrace with brick BBQ (coals provided), large covered seating area with cushions which is south facing and a delightful place to sit whether it’s summer or winter. There is a large flower wall on the terrace with soft evening lighting making it a lovely place day or night. There are string lights all around the hot tub garden and barn that come on every evening on a timer. There is also a separate courtyard garden off the bedroom. The Barn has lots of lovely things for you to use, a wood burning stove (basket of logs provided), TV with Netflix, DVD player and wide range of DVDs, your own Faster Fibre WiFi so signal is always strong. In the bedroom the kingsize bed will be made, it’s an EMMA mattress, 3 towels each on top plus towel and treat for your dog if they’re coming too. Loo rolls and a range of toiletries to help yourself to in the bathroom that has a huge walk in shower. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen. The kitchen has a washing machine, an electric hob and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the pots, pans, crockery and utensils to cook whatever you wish. Washing up liquid, scourer, cloth etc all provided. There is an ice bucket and ice in the freezer for your drinks. Dogs are very welcome for no extra cost, just let me know they are coming so I can leave water bowls, towels and treats. Unregistered guests are not allowed, please don’t invite friends as it will result in all of you having to leave the property. The Barn is strictly 2 adults maximum. Guests have full access to The Barn and can come and go as they please. I shall meet you there on arrival to hand over key and then leave you to it. I’ll meet you at arrival to hand over key and briefly explain Hot Tub then leave you to it. I'm available if you require help or advice at any time, contact details are in the Welcome folder or just message via Airbnb. I’m also more than happy to suggest great pubs and places to go when you arrive, there are lots of leaflets and maps in the Barn to use too. Do look at my guidebook, similar info below. A peaceful no through village lane near Bersted Brooks Nature Reserve. Although 3 mins drive away you’ll find a retail park with Sainsbury’s, 24hr Tesco, Marks&Spencer Foodhall, McDonald’s, Pets at Home etc 10 mins drive away is West Beach Littlehampton and is a beautiful National Trust bay with sand dunes, stones up high and lots of sand when the tides out. East Head part of West Wittering beach is 25 min drive away and has sand dunes, flat soft sand and gentle waves. For dog owners it’s great as both East Head and West Beach allow dogs off lead all year round. Plenty more beaches but these two are my favourite and they have toilets and a cafe. Arundel Castle and Amberley Castle are close, very different to each other. Arundel castle is huge and impressive and worth booking a tour. Afternoon tea at Amberley castle which is now a 5 star hotel is very special and a great way to spend the afternoon, can be booked on their website, unfortunately no dogs allowed. Tinwood Estates Vineyard 10 min drive do a fabulous afternoon at 3pm every day where you can learn about the vines and sample them on their gorgeous terrace, dogs allowed too. Easy to book on their website. On the same lane as us is Splash Hounds, an indoor swimming pool for dogs, details on their website for bookings, a favourite with our guests. Also grubbiepuppiesdoggrooming (Becky) has a Mobile van and can come to you, book in advance for appointment, your pup will be totally spoilt by her! There’s a pub 10 min walk away, The Robin Hood which is very convenient! All the country pubs near us welcome dogs and I’d be more than happy to answer any questions/make suggestions about where to go. In the guidebook I’ve listed our favourite pubs with descriptions so you can choose what suits you best. Chichester is the nearest city, 15 min drive away and has lots and lots of restaurants and high street shops as well as independent and boutique shops. The centre is pedestrian friendly and plenty of car parks. It has a good nightlife too with taxis being £20-£25 from The Barn to Chichester. Bognor is the nearest town with all you’d expect from a seaside town, amusement arcade by the pier, fish and chips, sticks of rock and a really long promenade to walk on along the seafront. Dogs on lead. 3 miles from the sea and various dog friendly beaches , 7 miles from Chichester and it's shops and restaurants. Goodwood, Arundel, Petworth and Brighton are all close by. Train stations at Bognor Chichester and Barnham are close by. The double carport belongs to The Barn and is where you should park at all times. It’s 195cm high.
