Annex, with breakfast room/lounge

Annex in the New Forest, just a short walk from pubs, restaurants, take aways, shops, bus & railway links. Ensuite bedroom with king size bed and option of additional single pull out bed, for third guest or child. Pool closed from 1st October. Access to patio. Self check in, although we are still on hand to ensure guests have everything they need. The accommodation has independent access, negating the need for physical interaction between guests and hosts. Guests have independent access to the en-suite bedroom and adjoining conservatory, without the need to go through our home. This gives guests freedom to come and go as they please without the worry of disturbing others. Whilst guests will not have a kitchen, in the conservatory, guests will find a toaster, kettle and cafeteria in order to prepare and enjoy a continental breakfast. There is no kitchen. We do not provide ingredients for breakfast, however, guests have sole use of a fridge to store food for breakfast, snacks and picnics (please see ‘other things to note). A Co-op is a few minutes walk away. Additional crockery is available to use for takeaways if required. Whilst guests will not ha e a kitchen, in the conservatory guests have use of sofas and sky TV, perfect if little ones are tucked up early in the adjoining bedroom. Guests are welcome to enjoy their own patio. The pool is available for guests to use before 10am and after 5pm and is subject to weather/maintenance. The pool is usually closed from 1st October annually. We ask that all guest read and adhere to the pool rules, which will be found in the bedroom. Safety is paramount, children must be supervised at all times and the pool fencing gates must be kept closed. The accommodation has it’s own independent entrance, guests do not need to access our main residence. Guests have sole use of en-suite bedroom and breakfast room/conservatory. Whilst we will not use the breakfast room/conservatory during your stay, we may require access. The patio area immediately outside the bedroom door is for guests use. Off road parking is available on the premises. We strive for your stay to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We are always contactable to help with any enquiries. Whilst we would normally interact personally with guests, due to the pandemic we have adapted and will be on hand via messaging or telephone. All guests will be asked to self check in. Within a few minutes walk, guests will be able to enjoy the beauty of the New Forest. Within a couple of miles guests can visit the New Forest Wildlife Park and Longdown Activity Farm. A 15 minute drive will enable guests with children to take advantage of a day out at Paultons Family Theme Park, featuring Peppa Pig World. A 15 minute drive to Beaulieu will allow guests to visit Beaulieu Motor Museum and Palace House. Many small Forest villages and towns are within reach, as is the cruise city of Southampton. To the east the historic dockyards of Portsmouth, complete with outlet shopping is 30 minutes drive away. To the west the beaches of Bournemouth. We would suggest guests check accessibility to local attractions. We have plenty of off road parking available. We are also located a short walk from the Ashurst, New Forest train station and local bus stops. Catering - Whilst guests do not have access to a kitchen sink or microwave, there will be plenty of additional crockery and cutlery for guests to enjoy a takeaway from the village or a self prepared snacks and breakfast. As hosts we dishwasher wash all crockery/cutlery, whether used or not at the end of every stay. A washing up bowl, tea towel etc is available for guests to use during their stay. Family information - We welcome young guests and provide a portable blackout blind in the bedroom, which can be put in place by parents, if required to help youngsters get off to sleep. Upon requests we can provide a travel cot for your infant, we do not, however, provide cot linen. The base is quite firm so many guests bring a small duvet to cushion this. A high chair is always available upon request. Check in/out - Where possible we aim to be flexible with times. This will depend on outgoing and incoming guests.
