Beautiful Georgian Cottage on Stokesley High St
Beautiful, newly refurbished c1750 Grade 2 listed cottage in the heart of Stokesley market town, North Yorkshire. The cottage has a brand new central heating with cast iron radiators and a fireplace so its lovely and cosy warm in the winter. The kitchen is newly fitted and there's a microwave, kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, etc. The bedroom has a new king size bed with 2000 pocket sprung mattress . The bathroom is all new with a large bath. Indoor bike storage is possible in the hallway. The cottage was originally built in 1750 and was originally the towns first post office. The original sandstone post box is still located by the front window. Additional guests can be accommodated on the brand new double sofa bed in the lounge. There is also a record player so feel free to bring some of you old records. There is also a Smart television with Netflix etc . (no terrestrial or satellite ) The keys will be left in the keysafe box for your own entry when you arrive. There is always someone nearby in case of any problems. The cottage is all yours and it’s gorgeous! It’s right on Stokesley high street with all the lovely things to do that Stokesley has to offer. Many cool restaurants like Saddlers, Tru Vai, Lincoln’s, Y’Thai, and various pubs and shops, many of which are dog friendly and have seating outside for the warmer months. There is also a pretty river that runs parallel to the high street which is a lovely stroll. The area is also superb for cycling and bikes can be stored easily in the hallway. There is also an excellent bike shop in the town. There are amazing walks nearby including Rosebery Topping and Captain Cooks Monument and the cottage is an excellent base to explore the local sea-towns like Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. The spectacular Saltburn beach with it's Victorian pier and funicular is about a 15-20 minute drive. The cottage itself has been restored by ourselves, maintaining and replacing original features, please enjoy and treat it well! The cottage is all yours and it’s gorgeous!
