The tranquil self-contained Cart Lodge is situated in the garden of our home, nestled under the South Downs in the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint, only 15 minutes to Brighton. It's the perfect destination, whether you're looking for a countryside, city or seaside retreat! It is the ideal location for walkers, cyclists, horse riders, sailors and golfers or for those who just want to getaway from it all and completely relax. Bedroom with a king size double bed, that can be split into two single beds, a wardrobe, dressing table and chest of drawers, views across the Sussex countryside out of French windows. Living Room with comfortable seating, desk and a TV. Kitchen is very well equipped for home cooking with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, dining table and chairs. Spacious bathroom with a power shower and roll top bath, WC, washbasin, washing machine, heated towel rail and floor. Easy and safe parking by the accommodation. Private seating area which is often sun-drenched, the perfect place to sit back and relax on the garden furniture and hang out together. Guests will have access to footpaths across our beautiful garden, backing onto open fields with views across the Sussex countryside. Please note we have another Airbnb downstairs that sleeps 2 people. Guests will have complete access to our cottage and private outside seating area ideal for a BBQ and soaking up the sun (hopefully)! We tend to leave you to enjoy the peace & quiet, however, help is on hand if you need it. There is plenty to discover within a small drive such as the vibrant city of Brighton & Hove, breath in the sea air, whilst strolling along the bustling Brighton & Hove beach promenade and soak up the cosmopolitan atmosphere, explore the historic laines and discover many quirky shops, visit the gorgeous town of Lewes, racing at Hickstead, Goodwood & Fontwell, opera at Glyndebourne, Arundel Castle, Nymans, Bluebell Railway and Devil's Dyke.
