Terraced property built in 1880 consisting of many original character features. The room is ideal for individuals who work in local & surrounding area and therefore requiring a welcoming bed each night. No additional guests. Also handy as a base for students looking to relocate in the area. Parking available nearby or parking directly on site sometimes available but not always. *Important* Wifi is limited during the day due to host requirements for work. The bathroom is shared with the owner and other guests if staying in the upscaled double room; priority given to guests where possible. Kitchen encouraged to be used for any food brought in, thereby leaving your private space in tip top condition. Living room can be utilised as an alternative seating area. Laundry facilities also available for longer staying guests. Breakfast is available with a selection of filtered coffees, herbal/regular teas, cereals*, fruit or toast*/crumpets/preserves. *Gluten free may be available. Friendly household so guest interaction is never a problem. Privacy is also respected. If both rooms are occupied please respectfully liaise with other guests to determine bathroom timings prior to work/leisure. Feedback greatly encouraged to give the best possible stay for this listing. Ovenden is a busy community though quietens after 8pm. A good selection of take aways nearby and large supermarket is 3 minutes drive up the road. Anywhere in and around Halifax can be accessed within 10 minutes by car. Some good restaurants as well as the cinema can be recommended. Links to Halifax via public transport are frequent and there are economical local taxi services for those who require them.
