The property is 2 miles from Marlow a bustling pretty town which is famous for its cuisine. Boasting Tom Kerridge's 2 Michelin starred restaurant the Hand and Flowers but also home to the Ivy Garden, the Coach ( Tom Kerridges' walk in restaurant where no reservations are required) , the Butcher's Tap and a host of other scrumptious restaurants and cafes. The river and nearby Park offer a wonderful place to walk and explore as well as the many local smaller villages with great country pubs such as the Royal Oak in Bovingdon Green. For those who enjoy rowing Henley-on-Thames is 5 miles in the opposite direction from the property and is the most quintessentially pretty English town, full of history and culture and home to the famous Henley Regatta and Henley Music Festival. Hambledon Village is 2.5 miles away, a stunning Chiltern Village often used in Films and TV sets. There is a bus service at the bottom of our lane which can take you either to Marlow or Henley.
