Evegate Manor Barn
This newly renovated barn is nestled within the grounds of the listed Evegate Manor. Situated in the heart of the Kentish countryside it offers easy access to London via Ashford international station, is just 10 mins drive from the Channel Tunnel and 25 mins from Dover. Canterbury is just 20 min away and offers a great nightlife with bars and restaurants. The barn has one double bedroom but also has a double bed settee within the living area. This would not be particularly comfortable for adults but would be fine for children or one adult. Guests have the opportunity to be completely independent within this property. There is a fully working modern kitchen within the barn with a convection hot plate, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a large American fridge freezer, breakfast is not provided. We are a very friendly and accommodating family and are happy to make our guests part of the family. Any help or advice whilst you are here is no problem to us. The area we live in is very rural but is still within easy reach of towns and city's. London is just 37 mins away if you chose to use he high speed rail like from Ashford. Guests have the opportunity to be completely independent within this property but are also welcome to come and be part of the family. There is a satellite dish on the property offering Sky TV, broadband/wifi and also a lovely wood burning stove for those romantic moments - although it's so well insulated you may cook it you light it! There is a fully working kitchen within the barn. In the summer we have a fabulous swimming pool that the guests have access to, and also a hot tub that is available year round. These are within our garden so are not private. Small and medium sized dogs are welcome but must be under control at all times of the day or night. We are in the heart of the countryside and have livestock and family pets on our land. If you are not confident in your dogs behaviour please do not bring them. Unfortunately we have to say this as one of our chickens was killed by a guests dog recently. We are a very friendly and accommodating family and are happy to make our guests part of the family.
