Foxglove Cottage -hot tub and 4 bedrooms

Foxglove Cottage is in rural Kniveton, with a village pub. It has a private hot tub, a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge, and 4 bedrooms. 3 of the bedrooms can be twin singles or doubles - making it great for families, couples & business travellers. The number of open bedrooms is set by the number of guests. Guests have use of a shared garden with play area, 2 fire pits & a games room. Good Wifi & pet-friendly. Short drive to The Peak District, Ashbourne, Alton Towers, Carsington Water. Foxglove Cottage is a large, stylish cottage that sleeps 8 - 10 guests. Beautifully furnished, it is perfect for a family holiday, celebration or small business meeting. Foxglove Cottage has four double bedrooms, three of which can be set up as either twin singles or double rooms. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge if you have 9-10 guests. There is a family bathroom with shower-over-bath, and a stylish shower room. Each room is tastefully decorated and we supply bed linen and towels. The number of bedrooms accessible to you is dependent on the number of guests in the reservation. The large ground floor is perfect for family celebrations, group get togethers and small business meetings. The open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining room has a contemporary kitchen with the latest appliances, including the all important dishwasher and microwave. Outside is a terrace with garden furniture and a private hot tub in the garden. Foxglove Cottage has a patio to the front of the cottage, with outdoor furniture and charcoal BBQ (April - October). Please bring charcoal and lighters if you plan on using the BBQ. There is a private car park for guests staying at Standlow. The large games room, with two full size snooker tables, air hockey & table tennis, is shared between all guests at Standlow. The children's play area, grassed paddock for ball games, and fire pits should keep everyone entertained. The number of accessible bedrooms depends on the number of guests staying. If your group is smaller than 8 we'll lock off the bedrooms not in use, but they will not be rented out to other guests, so you'll still have exclusive use of the cottage. Phone number is offered and keybox arrival. Great village pub just a short walk from the cottage - ‘Red Lion, Kniveton'. Cycle hire available locally for the traffic-free Carsington route and Tissington Trail. 20 mins by car from Alton Towers, 1 mile from Carsington Water, 8 miles from Chatsworth House and Bakewell, and just a few miles from The Peak District National Park. Beautiful views and easy access through the pretty market town of Ashbourne for the A50 & M1. Nearest train station is Derby - 30 mins taxi ride to Foxglove Cottage. Buses are infrequent in the rural village, but there are local taxi companies and frequent buses run from Ashbourne. Standlow has a bicycle shelter and there is cycle hire from Carsington Visitor Centre and Ashbourne, which also offer cycle paths. Please request a high chair, travel cot or double sofa-bedding if required. 3 of the beds can be super-king or doubles. Please request preference. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms left open will be based on your group size (1 bedroom & bathroom for 2 people, 2 for 3-4 people etc). Minimum 2 night stay We provide one towel per guest, but please bring your own towel if you wish to use the hot tub. * Please notify us if you are bringing pets beforehand. There is a £30 charge per dog The hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled on a Wednesday & Friday between 7am and 4pm. Therefore, the hot tub may not be up to temperature until late evening/the following morning. Please bear this in mind if your stay is over a Wednesday or Friday.
