Authentic, quaint & peaceful house with big garden

Within a large garden with apple & fruit trees, is a lovely and cosy typical normandy house set 15mins from the seaside. The living room has a large fireplace and the big garden is ideal for bbq. Old world charm and all mod cons, a peaceful retreat. Life is sweet in this pleasant house with refined decoration where "shabby chic" blends harmoniously with the "Art Deco ". The fireplace in the living room provide warmth and comfort in winter and in summer, the south facing terrace is sunny all day long. This authentic Normandy cottage of the 18th century is beautifully set in a large enclosed orchard style garden with camellias , roses, rodhodendrons ... and many fruit trees (apples, plums, pears, gooseberries, strawberries, currants, nuts). The house: Ground floor: kitchen (cooker, 4 ring induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, toaster, juicer, fridge freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, micro wave...), large living / lounge / dining room (tv, dvd, WIFI, HIFI), Bathroom with shower and basin, separate toilet, laundry (washing machine, iron and ironing board), Entrance hall with cloakroom. 1 Bedroom -Yellow room (bed 140 x 190 cm). Upstairs Blue Room (130 x 190 cm bed with french doors and balcony), landing leading to the master bedroom - green room (bed 160 x 200 cm) with balcony, and bathroom (bath, washbasin, WC). 2500m2 fenced garden (garden furniture, barbecue) parking for 3 cars on the property. Guests have access to the whole house and garden Upon arrival guests will be welcome by us and we will show them the house. During their stay guest can contact us as they see fit and we will meet them again as they depart. The beach of Veules les roses is 15 minutes away. Luneray 3km away is town with many shops (baker, supermarket, fishmonger, butcher, deli, pizzeria, pharmacy, newspaper / tobacconist, bar ...) , also well known for its typical Sunday market morning.The area offers many walks: Rainfreville (river), Crasville the Roquefort (castle), Gruchet Saint Simeon ... Guest will need a car to get around. The village is quiet and rural but 5mins away from the a village where shops can cater for all their needs (butchers, supermarkets, bakers, etc.) Accommodation is for up to 6 adults and 2 babies maximum. Should anymore than the maximum number of guests arrive, we will not be handing over the keys. The gardener may come to look after the garden and cut the grass whilst your are staying in the house. Thank you for letting him in. If you come with a pet, please be aware that the garden is not fully enclosed.
