Chapel Piece offers a lovely spacious well equipped self contained studio with a self serve breakfast supplied in your own kitchen along with a lounging area where you can relax on your sofa of an evening. You have your own entrance to come and go as you wish coming through our lovely garden. During these times we will maintain social distancing but are also available to assist if you need any help, we will greet you on arrival, the studio is deep cleaned for all visitors. Chapel Piece is an old brick and flint cottage which is situated in the quiet and attractive village of Bale. The accommodation suits both couples or individuals who wish to enjoy the luxury of a spacious studio room with en-suit shower, kitchen with full size fridge, microwave, egg boiler, toaster and kettle along with the lounging area to relax and watch TV. If you prefer to get up in your own time and to enjoy a relaxed evening this is the place for you. You will find everything you need to make tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juices, bread, butter, jam, honey, peanut butter and marmalade, 3 types of cereal, milk, eggs to boil or scramble, fruit and yogurt. Fresh croissants available on request. If there is something different or special diet needs let us know in advance we will do our best to get it for you. In warm weather you might enjoy having your breakfast in the garden or your evening drinks. We do not offer a cooked breakfast. There is a pleasant sitting area with a sofa and arm chair and an ingenious coffee table that can become a dining table. There is a flat screen TV with Freesat. We also offer free wi-fi. Note mobile phone reception can be poor in this part of North Norfolk. You have independent heating and air conditioning for all year round comfort suiting bird watchers and walkers as well as those who want a relaxing break in our beautiful part of the world. The garden has undergone extensive redesign and planting and is very beautiful. We have 2 standard poodles and two cats which are kept separate but your welcome to meet them. There is parking for one car on the driveway with an entrance gate into the back garden and to your own door into the cottage. At night automatic lights come on to light your way but a torch is essential as there are no lights in the village. We welcome our guests to our home and look forward to enabling them to make the best of their stay in North Norfolk and we can help with suggestions for the many beautiful and interesting places to visit. During this time we continue to offer housekeeping with all the correct protection but are happy if you prefer not have this service. Bale is a small and very attractive village that is very welcoming to visitors. If there is any event taking place when you visit such as our monthly fish and chip evening you will be warmly invited. It is just a short drive from the striking Georgian town of Holt with its array of unique privately owned shops and restaurants. It also boasts a highly regarded Summer Festival at the end of July and we are close to Thursford which is famous for its Christmas spectacular show. North Norfolk is famous for its coastline with its fabled marshes that stretch from east to west. It is world renowned for bird life with Cley, Morston and Blakeny only 15 minutes away. Beaches range from the traditional at Sheringham and Cromer to the breathtaking expanses of sand and dunes at Wells and Holkham. If that is not enough there is sea sailing and boat trips for seal watching or why not visit one of the four outstanding National Trust houses and gardens. If you are a stargazer you will be in for a treat as the night sky is strikingly free of man made light. Don't forget to bring a torch! You will need a car to discover North Norfolk or be a keen cyclist. This is a charming and quiet village there is a small shop in the garage at the top of the road and a farm shop with restaurant nearby (Back to the garden) and lots of very good pubs within 10 minutes drive away many offering a take away service during these times with covid 19.
