Country cottage, with hot tub and beautiful views
Our large spacious cottage is situated in the heart of Turnditch village. A beautiful home full of features and character. Ideal for walkers and families who want to enjoy the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The village sits on the edge of the Peak District National Park with Wirksworth, Matlock, Cromford, Ashbourne, Belper nearby. There are delightful views backing onto open fields and countryside with a warm south facing grassed garden with large patio with seating, gas BBQ and electric 6 seater hot tub. The cottage is full of character and spread over many different levels with various steps internally and externally. Ground floor Breakfast Kitchen - with range cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster etc Dining room - with featured display stone old charming fireplace surround and stable door leading to patio. Lounge - with dual aspect raised multi -burner stove with raised brick hearth, tv and seating. Utility room with fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Shower room with WC and hand wash basin There is also a charming garden room enjoying views over open fields and countryside the perfect place to relax. The property also features a games room with day bed which can also be pulled out to make a kingsize bed, tv(with dvd) and table football and a selection of games. (Bedding will only be left for the daybed if requested). First floor Bedroom 1 - zip link superking Bed which can also be made up as two singles. Bedroom 2 - zip link superking Bed which can also be made up as two singles. Bedroom 3 - double bed Bedroom 4- zip link superking Bed which can also be made up as two singles. Main bathroom - Roll edge top bath with mixer tap/shower attachment, basin and WC. Shower room with WC and basin All beds will be made up as super kings and double unless request has been made for singles prior to arrival. All bedding will be left for the day bed only if requested. The property has two driveway with two designated spaces for parking in the pumpyard and three spaces to the front of the property on the second drive. We live nearby and are happy to have as much or as little interaction as you require. There is a popular pub in the village, The Tiger Inn. There are also some fantastic pubs in neighbouring villages The Cock Inn at Mugginton, and The Black Swan at Idridghay both provide a nice walk across the countryside. Shottle Hall, Carsington Water, The Heights of Abraham, Crich Tramway Museum, Dovedale Stepping stones, Kedleston Hall, Osmaston Park and a 30 minute drive from Alton Towers and much more. It really is a fantastic location with so many nearby places to visit. There are beautiful walks from the village and the Ecclesbourne Valley walk goes through the village. The village also has a steam train station which heads along the Ecclesbourne Valley. Bikes can be hired at Carsington Water. The village also has a regular bus service. Please be aware that although the property is not over looked there are neighbours in close proximity. We respectfully ask that dogs are not left barking or at the property unattended. Please ensure house rules are followed and outside areas are not used past 10pm and noise is kept to a minimum.
