Reventazon River Mountain Lodge, inescapable PEACE is the number one attraction at the Lodge after driving up the new 4x4 main entry drive from the public road. With views overlooking Turrialba and across to the smoking Turrialba Volcano, this is an inspirational place. With 3 main cabins and soon to come, Eco tents!You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. The Sunrise Cabin has a queen bed and a kitchenette with dining table to cook and enjoy your meals over looking the beautiful mountain views. Secluded from the rest of the cabins, it's a 5 min walk or short drive to the main lodge and Outlook Deck that makes you feel like you are suspended in a river of clouds below, or above you or bright blue sky looking at the Turrialba Volcano and canyon below where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail drink, meal or just sit to the silence or listen to the little whisper... Private parking for each cabin. We have grounds that are open to walk, hike and when available, horse back riding. 138 acres to explore and enjoy. When we are here, we love to engage with our guests. They are welcome to come and enjoy the main lodge where we have a main kitchen, dining and sitting area, wood burning stove when cool, library to choose books they can take back to cabin or read there. Blue tooth system to play music. We live also here when we are not at our Playa Negra house rental down in Puerto Viejo. We are on top of a mountain-you have nature all around you, coyotes at night, sloths, Toucans, lots of species of birds and and animals. We have our own local naturalist that if around is happy to answer questions, or for extra cost, nature tours. We have private parking for each cabin. Hiking is encouraged when walking the property. 4x4 is a must to get to the mountain top. We have a Kawasaki Mule for 6 should you need assistance to get to the top of the mountain, with parking in the main village at the bottom.
