Robin's Roost at Marsh Farm Bed and Breakfast

Marsh Farm is located on the outskirts of the pretty village of Abbots Bromley and just a short drive from Uttoxeter and Rugeley. It is close to family-friendly attractions including Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Park, Shugborough Hall, Sudbury Hall and the National Arboretum. Robin's Roost is a large family room located in our barn conversion. Room suitable for 2, 3 or 4 guests. Travel cot available. Inclusive of Breakfast. Robin's Roost is located in a tastefully decorated barn conversion. This means that guests have their own space but I am not far away should they require help and advice. Guests have use of a small communal kitchen suitable for making light snacks and a lounge, dining area and garden. This room is located up one flight of stairs so not suitable for less able guests. Guests have access to the Barn Conversion and the garden to the rear but also welcome to enjoy the main farm garden and wander around the farm. I live on site, next door to the barn conversion, so will be around most of the a time and will always be there to greet guests. Abbots Bromley is a beautiful village in the Staffordshire Countryside and is in easy reach of many main town and cities. The village has a selection of good pubs serving food as well as an Indian Restaurant. Public transport is limited in the area so your own transport is recommended. Buses do run from Abbots Bromley and trains run from Uttoxeter and Rugeley. Breakfast is served each morning in the main farmhouse. Guests can enjoy either a full English Breakfast or choose from our menu including our home cooked ham with eggs and a wide range of yogurts, fruit, cereals and fruit juice. For guests that need to make an early start we can provide a continental breakfast. Guests can check in from 2.00pm until 8.00pm. When booking we will ask for an estimated time of arrival so that we can ensure that there is somewhere here to greet you. Check in after 8.00pm may be possible but only by prior arrangement. This is a small working farm with our own herd of Aberdeen Angus and free range hens. Guests are welcome to wander around the farm but please supervise children at all times.
