For kids, there is the Science museum and planetarium, City Museum, Bella's Art Cafe, Leisure Centre with indoor pools and rock climbing, skate park and lots more. There are lovely National Trust properties nearby and the Isle of Wight makes a great day trip! There is parking at the house but once you park you won’t need your car as you can walk to everything. The station, with frequent trains to London, is a 5 minute walk. Southampton airport is a few train stops, or a 15 minute drive. Taxis available at the train station.
