The house is located in an idyllic village near Lake Cerknica. It is surrounded by beautiful nature, which offers many opportunities for a relaxing holiday, walks, cycling and other sports activities. The hills of Špička and Slivnica, popular hiking spots, rise above the village. The house is located in a perfect location between Cerknica and Rakitna, where the popular cycling and motorcycling route runs. Slovenian painter Maksim Gaspari was born in this village. This beautiful property is the ideal destination for those who want to experience and enjoy Slovenian country living. A house has been recently renovated to a very high standard with taste and elegance. Today it's a cultural monument of local importance, offering accommodation in a double room with bathroom. The kitchen has an old wood-burning stove, the whole ambience is equipped with old furniture, old cupboards and the space in general is nicely complemented by preserved old objects. Even though you will live in an old restored farmhouse, we have arranged a modern bathroom with a shower, and we also made sure that you can wash your laundry in the washing machine if needed. There is also a refrigerator in the kitchen. ★ EAT LIKE LOCALS Guests staying with us are usually very active. Their days are filled with sightseeing tours, sport activities and excursions across Slovenia. To provide them with enough energy for their activities, we make sure to prepare a hearty and delicious breakfast each morning. *Breakfasts is available on additional payment, lunch or dinner by prior arrangement.
