The old mill owner used to live here with weavers on the top two floors (the apartment) there used to be old stone stairs running up the outside of the building with a walkway across to the mill. There is a private modern steel staircase to the first floor which leads in the open plan lounge , dinner and kitchen, with views over the calder. I have the gallery below where I make and sell my fused glassware . There are mirrors and lighting on display in the apartment There are many independent shops,cafes and bars in the town . There is also a rich calendar of events throughout the year check out the local tourist information just down the road at the marina . We slso have a traditional cinema and Trades club with a variety of bands We are on the main route across the north of England from Hull To Liverpool with the rail link directly to Leeds and Manchester. You can get here by car easily or by barge along the Calder and Hebble canal . Hebden Views is adjacent to the New Road carpark so overnight parking is free and its 60p per hour from 8am-6pm We are close to many great walks , up to Studley Pike ,Hardcastle Craggs , Heptonstall, Jerusalem Farm and many more.
