Ruhig gelegenes Zimmer im Weinort an der Mosel

Willkommen im Weinort Temmels an der Mosel! Unser traditionelles Haus mit gemütlichem Gästezimmer und Gästebad befindet sich nur ca. 100 m Luftlinie vom Moselufer entfernt. Außerdem liegt es an einer ruhigen Straße (30er Zone) direkt am Moselradweg zwischen Koblenz und Metz und lädt damit zu aussichtsreichen, langen Radtouren ein. Wer lieber Wandern geht, hat die Möglichkeit über den Zuweg zum Moselsteig zu gelangen. Die Grenzbrücke nach Luxemburg liegt nur 3 km entfernt, Luxemburg Stadt 30 km. Das Zimmer ist im Sommer kühl durch die dicke Wände und die Lage im Erdgeschoss. Das Haus verfügt über einen Garten, welcher auf Wunsch mitbenutzt werden kann. Das Gästebad ist zur alleinigen Nutzung durch unsere Gäste bestimmt. Eine Kaffeemaschine steht im Zimmer bereit. Während des Aufenthalts sind wir über Handy erreichbar. Wir stehen gerne bei Fragen aller Art und für Tipps zur Verfügung! In Temmels befinden sich 2 Weinkellereien, welche typische, heimische Weinsorten anbauen. Hinzu kommen eine Brauerei (sehr zu empfehlen, Verkauf nur samstags), eine authentische, norddeutsche Fischbraterei, ein Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei. Die dorfeigene Metzgerei bietet sehr günstige, warme Mahlzeiten an. Alles ist von der Unterkunft aus schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Bei Bedarf: Grevenmacher (in Luxemburg) liegt nur 3 km mit umfangreichen Einkaufs- und Weggehmöglichkeiten (auch sonntags!) entfernt. Von Temmels aus fährt stündlich ein Zug nach Trier, der ältesten Stadt Deutschlands mit Ihren zahlreichen römischen Baudenkmälern (ca. 20 Minuten, Strecke Trier-Perl). Zudem erreicht man die charmante Festungs- und Hauptstadt Luxemburg in nur 35 Minuten mit der Buslinie 134 (Konz-Luxemburg). Beide Haltestelle liegen nur 3-5 Minuten vom Haus entfernt. Malerische Orte wie Nittel und Saarburg sind in nur 10 bzw. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto (Nittel auch per Zug) zu erreichen. Wer mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs ist, dem ist vor allem der Saarradweg zwischen Konz und der Saarschleife bei Mettlach ans Herz zu legen. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, there are a couple of IMPORTANT things you should be aware of: • Please ventilate the room at least twice a day to avoid moisture in the room. The following applies: no continuous ventilation, but burst ventilation! • Please open the window after every shower in the bathroom, as there is no ventilation system and otherwise moisture will collect! The same applies here: Please open the window completely, don't just tilt it! • Please do not eat in bed, this will leave unsightly stains and it is much more practical at the table anyway. • For sustainability reasons, the coffee machine is operated with reusable capsules made of stainless steel. These only have to be rinsed, dried and refilled. Please don't throw them away! If there is not enough coffee available, let me know and you will get more. • To refill (see below) simply (1) fill about 2/3 of the capsule loosely with coffee, (2) press the coffee firmly with the spoon and (3) attach the filter and silicone lid. (4) The capsule must be inserted into the machine with the hole facing forward (6 o'clock position), otherwise the silicone lid will be pierced. And there is your coffee! • Last but not least: Please use water carefully and sparingly. Our planet thanks you! • Use of the washing machine: Please hang the your laundry inside only when outside it's raining (or rain is foreseen), otherwise, please hang it outiside on the dedicated revolving clothes dryer we have in the garden (séchoir parapluie).
