Family house with pool for summer in Hampshire

Dairy Cottage is the most perfect house for a family get together. A beautiful open plan kitchen and living space leads into the stunning garden with outdoor entertaining area, pool and an idyllic view of the Test Valley water meadows. Diary Cottage is a smoke and pet free home. Dairy Cottage would definitely appeal to families who are looking to have a break in one of the most picturesque parts of the English countryside. It is spacious and comfortable and is located just a mile from Stockbridge, an historic village which boasts plenty of boutiques, cafes and restaurants. The main draw to this house is the indoor/ outdoor living appeal. There is plenty of space for children to run around and play, a heated pool (may-sept)with a small slide, a veggie and raspberry patch which you are welcome to harvest and a huge amount of sleeping space. There is a very spacious, cosy drawing room with the large wood burning stove. The open plan kitchen is the perfect space to relax and cook, with a large kitchen table which seats 10 easily. There is another woodburner in the snug area and a very comfortable L-shaped sofa to sink into to watch tv. The kitchen and larder is well equipped to cater for large groups. The area is stunning, with a vast variety of walks/ country pubs to visit locally. We have a beautiful view of the water meadows from the garden, but something to note, our neighbours own the field just beyond our garden fence and tend to their chickens a couple of times a day. Guests can use the whole house apart from an office. There is a boot room, open plan kitchen with woodburner, larder, laundry room, downstairs cloakroom, hall, drawing room with woodburner, 6 bedrooms, 2 family bathrooms (one with bath and separate shower and one with just a bath) and one ensuite shower room. Garden, pool and car port enough for 6 cars. We will not be here, but there will be a key safe. There will be a contact number in case of any problems. An absolutely beautiful part of the world. Quintisenntial picture perfect villages, with thatched roofs and quaint country pubs. Only an hour and a half from London, 15 minutes to Winchester, 20 minutes to Salisbury. Close to Stonehenge and Mottisfont, a gorgeous National Trust house and garden. There is one walk from the house, but a car or bike is necessary to get to the shops/ village. Please remember this is a family home and we have close neighbours. It is of utmost importance that guests are respectful of noise levels during their stay. Thank you!
