Children adore the farm as it offers wide open green spaces for them to roam and explore. Parents can reax on comfy, overstuffed couches on the verandah which overlooks an expanse of green and sparkling pool. Lazy paddle fans keep the air cool and a plethora of books + board games can keep everyone occupied for a lengthy stay. This is without doubt a stylish & chic farmhouse, individually designed with uncluttered elegance by the owner. For the style conscious traveller who is seeking an extraordinary house that is quirky, unpretentious yet oozes a South African style and joie de vivre. The beds are fitted with Ginger Cat Linen as well as the towels in the bathrooms. We supply organic extract of natural bee products in the bedrooms as well as a coffee maker. It is a loving work in progress and our team share the same ethos of working with nature and strive to protect its precious resources. The farmhouse accommodates 10 - 14 people and has wonderful views of the Calitzdorp mountains, vineyards, olive trees, tortoises and 152 bird species. Pool available with net. If you book the main house you will be able to have full use of the house. Available if guests need me, but guests must have as much privacy as they need. I can arrange tours of the local potters (Calitzdorp is renowned for their ceramicists) and the wine farms. Swartberg Pass; Bopaas for wine tasting; De Krans for wine tasting, day trip to Prince Albert, day trip to Oudtshoorn, Calitzdorp, Wilgeheuwel, Cango Caves or even the Garden Route. You will need your own car. We have Quad Bikes to zoot around on in the farm. Most guests love to explore the farm on foot by running, hiking and even once, paragliding! Rooms can be rearranged to cater for children being next to their parents.
