Barn style cottage set in rural North Warnborough with just 5 minutes (400m) walk to St John’s Odiham Castle. The cottage is set amongst a wildlife complex next to Warnborough Green with wetland meadow stream, River Whitewater and the famous Basingstoke Canal offering walks to Woking or back to Greywell Tunnel. Great for cycling, walking and wildlife watching. The home offers rustic furniture across both bedrooms (double and twin) and an open plan living room with sofa bed. This is a rural spot but very accessible to the M3, Odiham High Street (North Hampshire’s Georgian scene), Hook railway station is just few minutes drive. Full use of a modern fitted cottage complete with utility room. I'll be available in the building next to the cottage if there's any issues - otherwise will leave you to enjoy your stay! This is in the heart of a very popular nature reserve and a short walk to The Mill House pub and restaurant. Close by is the castle and Basingstoke Canal. You are welcome to arrive by train. Hook station is only a 5 min drive away, 40 mins walk. If I'm available I'm happy to collect you from the airport or station. Parking is outside the property on the private access drive. Please park next to the ‘Mount Farm’ sign and access via the black pedestrian gate. For loading and unloading, we can open the main gate. Tea, coffee and sugar is provided for your convenience.
