THE SPACE The Bothy is a nineteenth century building renovated to a high standard and providing total privacy in an independent oak beamed building within our garden. A well-appointed ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen area with washing machine and a comfortable living area with TV. Upstairs is an en-suite double bedroom. The super king bed can become two singles if guests prefer. Central heating throughout. Outside there is a secluded patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining. The whole cottage. Parking is not provided but there is on-street parking very close by. On arrival and departure The cottage is in the centre of Elstead an attractive village in the heart of the Surrey Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. The area is ideal for walking, cycling and enjoying some of southern England’s most attractive countryside. The village has an excellent Spar mini-supermarket (within 100 yards), three nearby pubs and is about 2 miles from Milford BR station (London 45 minutes). The nearby towns of Godalming and Farnham have a wide variety of restaurants, shops, amenities and history, and Guildford is just seven miles away. A car is most convenient but there is a bus service (bus stop 1 minute away) to Godalming and Farnham. Wonderful walking country across miles of common land in the Surrey Hills. There are three lovely pubs with very good food all within 700 yards of the property. The Bothy is adjacent to the road through the village which gets a little busier at rush hour but is generally quiet. The garden is not by the road.
