Newly refurbished in Spring 2021, Jasmine Cottage is a perfect place for a romantic retreat. Set in its own private enclosed garden with far reaching views and ample parking. Combining period features such as inglenook fireplace and exposed beams, with fibreoptic WiFi, it's great to get away from it all, while only 1.5 hours from London via train. Great country walks start right outside the gate. Featuring luxurious furnishings throughout, we look forward to welcoming our guests. The cosy sitting room is the ideal place to relax next to the blazing woodburner. Equally the private garden offers a great space to chillout. The upstairs space features a both bedroom with kingsize bed, and a charming dressing room area, which can also accomodate an infants cot. Guests have full private access to the entire property during there stay. Your hosts live locally and will be available should you require help and advice during your stay. Jasmine Cottage is located at the end of a tranquil country lane. Bikes are available to hire to explore the local area. The fascinating Thorpe Abbotts 100 Bomb Group Museum is within walking distance as is Billingford Windmill. Set in a heart of a large working farm, there are plentiful public footpaths to explore locally. Your hosts can recommend local pubs and restaurants, beauty therapists, golf courses, fishing lakes... just ask, and we will find a trusted recommendation for most things! Our Cottage is just 5 miles from Diss Station and 1.5 hours direct train from London, yet tucked away in a truly rural position. To enjoy the area fully you will need a car to explore our local market towns of Diss and Harleston, the City of Norwich and beautifully Bury St Edmunds. The Suffolk Coast is within 30 minutes drive, with pretty seaside towns and beautiful beaches. Television newly installed in September 2021, ready for cosy evenings in with a movie in front of the roaring fire.
