Real peace and space in these turbulent times!

Fully independent living space in the detached barn of our Saxon farmhouse from 1850, with the sleeping area as a very nice open space and a very wide view. Far from any noise and close to beautiful nature reserves, including het Runer Wold, het Dwingelderveld, het Drents-Friese Wold, De Weerribben. Optionally we have a child's bed and if you have difficulty walking, you can sleep well in the downstairs room, close to the bathroom and the toilet. Wheelchair accessible and free use of bicycles. Autonomous living space with all associated facilities, such as fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances. A washing machine with tumble dryer. Large television with Wifi for all current living and living requirements. A comfortable terrace to do 'nothing' and enjoy... And of course the incomparable distant view of the ash fields. The entire living space is available, we also have a covered outdoor area for two nice bikes and the bbq stuff! We want our guests to have and take their space, and will be available whenever needed. We live just (600 meters) outside the center of a beautiful Drenthe village Ruinen where on the center, called the 'Brink', you can eat, drink and enjoy on various occasions. Off all sides you enter instantly in free nature... Bus 32 commutes every hour between Meppel and Hoogeveen and stops at the bus stop a 3-minute walk from our house. From both cities you can be reached by train within an hour in 'for instance' Amsterdam. A particularly beautiful journey along the Oostvaardersplassen nature reserve! Our yard is just outside the municipal boundary of Ruinen and 600 meters from the Brink, where various cozy catering locations can be found ... the Coop is behind the Brink for the necessary groceries. The beautiful, new, prize-winning sheepfold in Benderse is within walking distance and the Dwingelderveld starts there with a number of walking and cycling routes to, among others, Dwingeloo, Lhee and the Anser Dennen, where they serve delicious home-made cakes and where you can rest for a while! You also can go horse-riding at one of the stables in the area.
