La Maison Sans Soucis-Le Coquelicot Self Catering

La Maison Sans Soucis Gites are based in the little village of Le Guislain. Whilst we have no shops here the village of Hambye is a five minute drive away. Le Coquelicot gite will comfortably sleeps six in three bedrooms and is housed in the same converted barn as our second gite, le Bleuet. Guests in both gites have full use of the gardens and games room. The rear garden is fully enclosed and has a swing and above-ground pool. The downstairs is open-plan with seating for six on two sofas and a dining table with six chairs. There is a tv with both french and English channels and a dvd player. A range of dvds is available for guest use. The kitchen area has a small gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a shower room. The stairs are a little steep so the gite may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Each bedroom has plenty of storage and an electric radiator for those chillier evenings. The rear garden is fully enclosed and is shared with guests in Le Bleuet gite. There is a private patio area with a BBQ and garden furniture. At the foot of the garden is an above-ground pool and a garden swing and slide set for our younger guests. Guests also have use of the large garden in front of the gites Guests have use of an enclosed rear garden and above ground pool which is shared with guests in both gites. There is also an adjoining games room with table tennis and darts We live in the house next to the gites but try to give our guests as much privacy as we can. We are more than happy to help with suggestions for places to visit We live in a very rural area, but are within an hour's drive of many of the attractions our part of Normandy has to offer. There is a multitude of of places to visit particularly for those who have an interest in World War II history and William the Conqueror. A car is essential here
