Pretty thatched cottage

My place is in Little Shelford only five miles from Cambridge City Centre. It is a very pretty village, but yet it is only a 30 minute bike ride or short taxi ride into Cambridge. It is only 2 miles from Addenbrookes. You’ll love my place because it is a five hundred year old thatched cottage with masses of original beams, an original inglenook fireplace and lots of (Website hidden by Airbnb) place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. The spacious double bedroom is part of a five hundred year old thatched cottage. It has a very comfortable kingsize bed with a luxurious mattress. With a vaulted ceiling and windows on both sides of the room, you can enjoy views over the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. The bedroom has its own bathroom, decorated in calming blue tones. It is accessed via a private staircase. Breakfast will be in the sitting room. Guest can enjoy the garden. Christa, your host knows Cambridge and the surrounding area very well and will be able to help with your travel plans and sight seeing itinery. Little Shelford is a very picturesque village only five miles from Cambridge. In fact, there is an old milestone which shows five miles to Cambridge and fifty miles to London. Little Shelford is a rare combination of a village community and yet only 30 minutes' cycle ride to the centre of Cambridge. It has an excellent Thai food pub, the Navigator, and an excellent Chinese take away and fish and chip shop. In Great Shelford, just fifteen minutes' walk away, there is a selection of shops and pubs. The Shelford Deli is an excellent wholefood café and shop. It is well worth a visit. Great Shelford also has a train station with trains to Cambridge in one direction (five minutes) and London Liverpool street in the opposite direction. London Kings Cross can be accessed from Cambridge. Little Shelford is about 8 minutes' drive from the South Cambridge junction of the M11 and 35 minutes from London Stansted. Ivy, a white labradoodle lives in the cottage with Christa. She is a very friendly and sociable dog.
