A lovely end-terrace Victorian house in Wellington Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire (SL6 6DH). Just 20 minutes from Heathrow T5....traffic permitting ;-) Maidenhead train station (10-15 minutes walk) connects you East to London and West via Reading to the South West of the country. My home is walking distance from the town centre. I have a small/ cosy double room looking out onto my back garden. An express supermarket (Tesco) 5minutes walk from my front Had a luxury new, fully fitted, bathroom. Guests have full use of the house, including the kitchen; a great garden space and lounge area. The garden has a great south facing aspect with a patio and decking area including tables and seating. I am home most evenings and happy to interact with guests. The house is 15 mins walk to the train station with a short as 20 minute connections East to London in one direction; and then 15 minutes West to Reading on to the West Country (as far as Devon and Cornwall. The town centre is 15 minutes walk. Bray is a 5-10 minute taxi away to reach the world famous Fat Duck restaurant, owned by Heston Blumenthal and and Royal Windsor is 15-20 minutes drive. The river Thames runs through one of the most beautiful stretches and is reached from the famous Cliveden Hotel. Other close must visit locations include Marlow, Henley and Ascot. There is public street parking (although it does get very busy after working hours!). Taxis are readily available and the railway station is 10 to 15 minutes walk away. Heathrow airport, dependant on M4 motorway traffic, is 20-25 minutes away. There is a great local supermarket (5 mins walk from the house) as well as. Majestic wine outlet and the Windsor Castle public house.
