The Hut The living area incorporates twin beds or a super-king size bed with comfortable foam topper. Bedside table/drawers, a wardrobe and fold away table with two chairs. An efficient wall-mounted oil heater keeps the space cosy and warm in the cooler times of the year. A compact kitchen area includes crockery and cutlery, a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Bathroom with wc, shower and basin. Parking: a large drive will provide space for one car or small camper van. Wi-Fi & USB Points Location: Hawkinge is a small town at the top of a hill, 5 minutes drive from Folkestone and heading towards Canterbury. There are two local pubs and a few small essential shops including a fish and chip shop, Turkish or Chinese take-away as well as a Lidl supermarket, all within 10-15 minutes walking distance. In the quaint regenerated streets of Folkestone, you'll discover cutting-edge art in its unique Creative Quarter, which houses over 100 artistic enterprises within its cobbled centre. Explore pastel-painted studio-galleries, and indulge in quirky stores, laid-back bars and chic eateries. The mile-long cliff-top promenade of The Leas offers sea views to France, and at the Lower Leas Coastal Park you can enjoy a picnic or BBQ on the beach; or head to the Folkestone Harbour Arm for an eclectic mix of food, drink and entertainment. Be sure to try Rocksalt for super-fresh fish and al-fresco dining with superb harbour views, or Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill for classic French and English cuisine, situated in the Best Western Clifton Hotel. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle also brings France closer too, with Folkestone just 35 minutes away from Calais. Slightly further are Canterbury (20 mins drive) and the M25 (50 mins drive). If you love the outdoors, there are plenty of opportunities to walk in the countryside and down by the beach or take a bicycle out and explore the area. Access to hut via side gate, then block pave and beach gravel pathway. Full remote access is setup with a key safe, we are available if required to answer any questions. Residental area. There is a social club nearby which is only one minute walk from our property and allows nonmembers to socialise at the weekends and during the evenings seven days a week. The bed can be setup with the following configurations, one kingsize, two single or one single with a wicker chair.
