“Accommodation On the water”

Dear guests, Are you seeking for a cozy and cultural place where to spend your well-deserved time out? You are welcome alone as well as in pairs. The host family lives separately but we all share the terrace with an outdoor sitting area and barbeque plus the backyard garden with the herbal patch. The backyard is quite large, yet offers privacy and secure parking for three vehicles and bicycle storage. There is a small children playground available with the sandpit. We offer two comfortable bedrooms (1bed and 2 beds) with a separate entrance from our backyard that radiates comfort and coziness. The area provides a marvelous environment with countless possibilities to experience and enjoy the wonders of the south Moravian nature, sightseeing’s and the local culture with rich wine and beer tradition. Both bedrooms have their own private access to the bathroom. The first bedroom provides charming accommodation for a single traveler designed as a wheel-chair accessible space, equipped with a cozy fireplace, a single bed, and a table with a chair. The room is located on the ground floor. For travelers in a pair, we offer the second bedroom located in the basement. The room is equipped with two single beds that can act like a queen bed. Besides, the guests staying in this room will have own full, private kitchen area with a cooker, an extractor hood and a dining room which offers the possibility of preparing meals. All guests can use and share the terrace and lounging in the back yard for relaxing. The whole area is wheel-chair accessible. The terrace is linked to a stylish separate living room with an exposed brick wall. The living room acts as an opened space without a door and windows and is equipped with rural furniture. All guests can primarily use the living room for the purpose of simple cooking where you can warm up food or brew coffee. In the summertime you can enjoy your breakfast in our garden and simply have a good time, relax and make yourself comfortable. You will find it easy to do so at our place. There is also a little playground with a sandpit for children to play, a parking lot available inside of our house- completely free of charge, providing storage of three cars, and free WIFI in the whole area. The single bedroom, the bedroom with two beds, a bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink and men lavatory, kitchen with a dining room, the living room. We are a family of four, two adults – Petr and Klara - with two small kids. We live in a rural country house and we share the backyard with you. We are very happy to welcome you and accommodate you in our two separate bedrooms’ space. We are available from the morning until 1 pm and then again from 3 pm to the evening. We live in Moravska Nova Ves, South Moravia region, The Czech Republic In our village, you can find the local brewery and taste a delicious hand-crafted beer. I will be happy to arrange for you a reservation with a wide range of local beer tasting with the commentary. In our village there are three grocery stores, two restaurants and pizza delivery available to your needs. In particular, I would love to recommend a local bakery with a high-quality bread and pastry, including regional specialties. Dear visitors, you come to a region that has been known for many centuries for its wine, hospitality, and variety of folk traditions such as costumes and songs. Perhaps in this regard, you will welcome neighboring home concerts in our garden or visiting the wine cellar. You can find several wine associations and singing and cultural associations in our village that organize many local events throughout the year. I will be pleased to make suggestions for you about various opportunities and events going on. The system of transportation in the local area is very good. We have a railway station located directly in our village connecting the local towns, villages, and cities such as Breclav, Brno, Prague or international cities such as Bratislava or Vienna. The local bus connection is also good. The surrounding villages can be reached by bus, as well as the local towns of Hodonin and Breclav. You can also combine busses with the trains. Please allow me a few words about how to find easily our “Accommodation on the water” on the map. The house is located between two streets Lucni and Zelnicky. Access from "Luční" street will direct you to the "front gate" providing mostly access for people and bikes. The access from "Zelničky" street called "rear gate" serves as an entrance to the parking lot. It takes 52 male steps from the front gate to the back gate of our house. Our house is situated in the wine village called Moravska Nova Ves, located 13 kilometers southwest of the district town of Hodonin in South Moravian region close by Austrian and Slovakian borders. This region represents the crossroads where many cultures met, through historical routes that have intersected here. This enchanting region offers to visit many historical places surrounded by beautiful nature. South Moravia represents the place with many castles, chateaus, vineyards, forests, lakes, and rivers. It is a historical place known as a wine-growing and wine-making territory of the Czech Republic. The specific type of red wine called Cabernet Moravia was developed, grown, and cultivated directly in our village. It is a wine of dark garnet color. If you are a wine lover, there will be many opportunities to taste and visit the traditional south Moravian wine cellars with the locally decorated front facades. Based on our historical documents and archeological excavations, we can date the existence of our region to 9 th century together with the establishments of the Great Moravian Empire. To visit the ruins of this Slavic fortified settlement, you can easily travel on the bike, on foot or by the local bus to the neighboring village Mikulcice, approximately 4 km away from Moravska Nova Ves. Among much popular sightseeing, we recommend visiting the site listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape area 283,09 square kilometers large with many wine cellars, Lednice chateau, and Valtice castle or to take a fantastic houseboat cruise on Batuv Kanal.
