An historic Grade 2 listed first floor modern apartment in the heart of Ashbourne Town Centre. The front overlooks the Market Place. Recently renovated, Market View has a combination of original features including uneven floors and walls, beams and feature fireplaces. There is a garden terrace overlooking the rooftops at the rear. Two spacious bedrooms, modern fitted kitchen/diner with washing machine and dishwasher and modern shower room. The lounge has feature fireplace with Sky TV and Wi-fi Market View is a character apartment which is beautifully decorated throughout. There are original fireplaces in the lounge and both bedrooms. Centrally located to Alton Towers, Derbyshire Dales, Peak District National Park, Matlock Bath, Belper, Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. We are close to Dovedale which was recently voted as one of the seven natural wonders of the UK .. a must if you get time to visit. Bedroom 1 is a large room with a king size bed, hanging rail, drawers, bedside tables and a chair. There is a hairdryer located in this room. The window overlooks the Market Place. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds, a hanging rail, chest of drawers and bedside tables. The window overlooks the Market Place. The lounge has a corner sofa and a separate chair. There is a smart TV with Sky. A Bluetooth speaker is available for use by guests. There is Wi-Fi. The window overlooks the Market Place and is perfect for people watching. There are feature fireplaces in the lounge and both bedrooms which are for decorative purposes only. The kitchen has fitted appliances and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine has recently been added. There is a table with 4 chairs and two additional stools. There is a clothes airer, ironing board and iron. The bathroom is fully fitted with a large walk in shower. Outside there is a garden terrace with artificial grass. There is a table and chairs on the terrace. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any pets. There isn’t any parking on site however, there is on street parking and a car park nearby. There is shared access from the ground floor to the apartment. This is a 1st floor apartment with accommodation above and below. There are bus routes to and from Derby, Uttoxeter, Belper, Buxton and Leek. There is on street parking and local car parks. Prior to arrival it is possible to obtain a parking permit from Derbyshire Dales council which reduces the parking charges and is ideal for days out in Derbyshire Dales. We will be available via mobile phone, AirBnB portal and (Hidden by Airbnb) . This is conveniently located in the heart of the market town of Ashbourne on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The town has many restaurants, cafes, family friendly pubs and individual shops to explore. The cobbled Market Place has many hidden alleys and yards to wander around. There are supermarkets in the town centre and nearby (Sainsburys, Co-op, Aldi & Marks & Spencer). There are several car parks within a short walk of the apartment. The bus station is a few minutes walk across the town. The nearest train stations are located in Derby, Uttoxeter and Belper. The apartment is on the 1st floor with stairs for access. These are quite steep. The flat is located overlooking the Market Place and on a main road through which can be noisy. There isn’t any car parking on site however there are car parks within a short walk. A 3 or 7 day parking permit can also be purchased prior to arrival and can be used in the Derbyshire Dales car parks. Full details will be supplied by the host when booked.
