The Lobsterpot is a one-bedroom self contained ground floor apartment located next to the River Tweed in Tweedmouth, Berwick, within easy walking distance of Berwick town centre. The apartment has a double size bed, kitchen, bathroom and separate lounge. Minimum stay is for 3 nights. The Lobsterpot is a one bedroom apartment with gas central heating and an electric log burner effect fire in the lounge. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge with a freezer compartment, the bathroom has a bath with an overhead electric shower. A short walk across the old bridge takes you to the market place in Berwick town centre. Berwick railway station is about a 20 minute walk or a short taxi ride. The promenade and beach at Spittal is a 10 minute walk away. To the rear of the property is a cobbled courtyard accessed via french doors from the lounge/diner with a bistro table and chairs for use by Lobsterpot guests. There are no parking restrictions outside of the property. For your information, The Lobsterpot has a sister first floor apartment above, The Snug on the Tweed - ideal for when 2 couples like to holiday together but have their own separate accommodation. Guests are able to self check-in, keys are stored in a keysafe. Within a few minutes walk are Asda and a little further Marks and Spencer Simply Food. There is also a number of takeaways and cafe's minutes away and a pub. There are numerous walks within minutes from the Lobsterpot, namely the Lowry trail and a recent addition being theTweed & Coast Nature Trail. By car there are numerous places to visit, from Amble, Alnwick, Seahouses and Bamburgh to the south to Eyemouth and St Abbs across the border to the north. Why not take a boat trip dolphin and seal spotting or a leisurely trip up river under the bridges.
