Welcome to the historic Quarry House Lofts built in 1888. We are located in the heart of downtown. Enjoy easy access to Nauvoo's historic sites, local vineyards, and farms from this perfectly located 2nd-floor apartment. Walk to the Temple or the charming downtown shopping and restaurants. Stop downstairs and visit our local art gallery featuring local artists, regional and Christian artwork. Enjoy a private retreat in our historic apartments decorated to reflect the local community and its rich history. Built in 1888, this brick building was at the center of much of Nauvoo's life in the 20th century. The apartments have all the amenities you'll need while you enjoy the town and surrounding countryside. I give my guests space but am available when needed We are located on Mullholland, the main road through downtown. Stop by Annie's for fresh custard or Belgian waffles. The Red Front has great food, and the Hotel Nauvoo has a gourmet buffet on the weekend. Drop into the Nauvoo Market, across the street, and check out offerings from local makers and vendors. Just a short walk to magnificent views of the Mississippi River and surrounding countryside. You are surrounded by the river, local lakes, and State Parks. Take a stroll and you may even catch a view of our resident eagles, oxen, or draft horses, as well as the wonderfully restored historic buildings in the village below. As you tour the area you will find plenty of free parking, walking tours, and picnic spots. We provided three days worth of hand and body soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.
