A luxury en-suite with large shower, bedroom , with king size bed,TV, wifi, drink making facilities in our converted town house, with original exposed beams Steeped in the history of Cotton and situated in the peaceful hamlet of Litton Mill, in the Derbyshire Dales. We have 2 large separate and private en-suite bedrooms that accommodates 4 people in our converted Town House. One room has a king size bed and adjoining modern bathroom has double shower and large rain shower head and views over the River Wye. The front bedroom enjoys a super king size bed and this bathroom has a deep stand alone bath and large shower. Both beds have squidgy pillows and cosy duvets. Each room has tv,wifi,drink making facilities and exposed beams that add character to the rooms. We have a large open plan dining room for you to enjoy a full Derbyshire breakfast before starting your day. You are welcome to use our lower ground floor lounge which also has a table tennis table. We also have available for your use, 4 top of the range mountain bikes ( a deposit in case of damage or loss is required) otherwise free! Check-in time is from 12 noon and check-out from about 11 a.m. We are very happy to Welcome you into our home and chat about the sights and attractions surrounding us, as much or as little as you like. We appreciate and respect your privacy. The peace and quite of our neighborhood is second to none. We have lots of walks and cycle tracks right on our door step.The history of the Mill goes back to Dickens day! Chatsworth House, and Haddon Hall, with all their regal splendour and grand gardens,are about 6 miles away and a must visit. Bakewell and their puddings is a few miles in one direction and Buxton with it's Spa water and Cavern's in the other. So much to see and so much to do. You might want to stay longer. Getting out and about is easy with a car or cycle. Public transport is available at the end of the picturesque river side drive of just over a mile. Trains are also available and will bring you into Buxton/Matlock(favoured by the Queen on her recent visit to Chatsworth House)/Edale/Bamford/Chesterfield to name but a few close by stations.You will need a taxi from these stations. We are situated by the River Wye and day fishing is available. Cycle hire is also easy from Hassop or Blackmill, with some great cycle trails. With Dales and Caverns,Majestic Stately Homes and Gardens,Opera Festivals and Wells Dressing to name just a few of the many attractions that are available in and around the lovely Peak District.
