We will make sure you feel taken care of and have help with whatever needs you have. The property is in close proximity to Laborie with it’s beautiful white sand beach. Getting to Laborie by road is quick, if you choose to go on foot it will take around 20 minutes to walk the twisty and hilly terrain but you will be rewarded with some beautiful views and luscious greenery. Laborie is a charmed beachfront village with a mix of ramshackle old houses and brand new buildings. Taking a walk through the village, you’ll see a real slice of Saint Lucian rural life; a bustling village with a tiny market square. The property is also a short drive from the town Vieux Fort. Vieux Fort is home to a spectacular bay renowned as a popular destination for wind and kite surfing. Vieux Fort has some top attractions including white sand beaches, the lighthouse on the Cape Moule a Chique offering bird’s eye view of the surrounding area and of course, a vibrant weekend market where you can shop for great seafood. We recommend that you rent a car when on the island but if thats not an option there local busses they are more like little 12 seater vans but locals are able to get from a to B with no issue. This is a good way to travel if you really want to experience lucian life. My co Host Zico can provide you more information about this upon your arrival at Nightingale house. There is also the option to have a personal driver who will take you where ever you need to go and can pick you up. Depending on how often you use his services this could work out to more than just renting a car but for those who don’t drive or wish to drink this is a great alternative.
