La Maison au Vert in the Haute Saone The department of Haute Saône belongs to the region of Franche-Comté, the former grain chamber of France. The most densely wooded area of France lies between Alsace in the east, the former Champagne-Ardenne regions in the north, Bourgogne in the west and the Jura in the south. The gently undulating green landscape invites to nature and relaxation. Near the Canal de l'Est, bordered by beautiful countryside, ideal for biking and walking. The bike paths are very well developed and lead along the canal by wild river arms, which are originally and naturally embedded in the lush green of the forests. The longest cycle path in Europe, the Euro Velo 6, leads directly along the canal. The "Boucles de Haute-Sâone" offers 21 well-signposted bike paths with a length of 22-62 km. Within an hour's drive you can experience a variety of nature and culture, on the one hand the pretty, historic health resorts such as Luxeuil les Bains and Plombières les Bains, on the other hand the capital of Franche Comté, Besancon. Besancon is always worth a visit. The really breathtaking old town, peppered with cafes and restaurants, the old customs houses on the Doubs, the wonderfully colorful market with local and exotic treats. And the historic cultural highlight, the Citadelle as a World Heritage Site. The nearby Vosges and the 1000 lakes and the world-famous Chapelle in Rompchamp offer as destinations in the east. The oldest, still active glassworks in Europe "La Rochère", located 15 minutes from Melincourt. In the spring the time of the flea markets and the markets for arts and crafts begins. Often beautifully situated, they invite you to stroll and experience. La Maison au Vert is located in the small village of Melincourt at the end of a small road, quietly situated, in the middle of the green. The spacious garden invites you to linger, discover and experience. The house, built in 1806, combines old and new in a harmonious coexistence. Apartment for 3-6: The detail is important to us. The solid wood furniture from local woods, which are produced by our own production, creates the basis for a pleasant living ambience, while antique pieces ensure the harmony between old and new. The high-quality equipment for bedroom, bathroom and kitchen combines modernity and country house charms. Bright rooms and the view into the green invite you to enjoy. Pure nature and relaxing tranquility allow for a break from everyday life. Flat screen TV and internet access are available.
