Nani Mári House

Within the Őrség National Park, close to nature and hiking trails, also comforts and ammenities of Kondorfa village. You’ll love our house's heavy rammed earth walls and its renovated, open interior. Part of lovely panonnian village, the house offers both privacy as well as expansive, rolling views. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families, and big groups. We stay at this house only once each year - during the rest of the year it is for guests. Guests can use the whole house. Bicycles are in the stable (istállóban vannak a biciklik). Guests have access to whole house and barn. The village is one of my favorites in the whole Orseg. Kondorfa has red and blue marked trails for wonderful jaunts all year long. The landscape is gentle and rolling and inspiring to me as an artist. Neighbors are so friendly and live close to the land. I enjoy walking through the three different parts of the village just looking at the crafted homes. I recommend a car to more easily explore the Orseg region. However, I have also arrived with a bus and have enjoyed Kondorfa on foot. There are two small stores in town for most amenities, as well as a cozy restaurant, the Vad Korte, for comfort food and drink. We just enjoyed two weeks at our house in December of 2018. The winter weather was beautiful and we stayed nice and warm inside when we weren't hiking in the nearby forest. Our children like to help manage the wood burning throughout the day. The stoves are modern and disperse heat evenly.
