Located in Orry-la-Ville, a village surrounded by forest and fields in the heart of the Oise – Pays de France regional nature park. 40 min from Paris by RER train or 1h by car. If you like to hear the birds sing when you wake up and if you like to take long walks in the woods, then this is the ideal spot for you. 310sq ft wooden chalet in a 21,000 sq ft garden, not overlooked and quiet, separated from the main house by 170 yards of garden. Bedroom 226sq ft, bed for 2 people (linens provided), wardrobes, windows overlooking the garden . Bathroom with shower, separate toilet. Soap, shower gel, shampoo, air dryer and towels provided. No kitchen in the place but there are: mini fridge, electric kettle, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, butter and jam. Tower fan. 2 mountain bikes. Wifi 40 min from Paris by RER train (or 20 min with the direct line from Gare du Nord), or 1 h by car. 15 min by car from Charles de Gaulle airport, 20 min from Parc Astérix, 15 min from Chantilly and Senlis. I’ll be there to recommend great walks in the area. 40 km (25 miles) from Paris, Orry-la-Ville is set in the heart of a vast natural space, including the historic Forest of Chantilly. The town center has shops and restaurants around its 12th century church. 10 km from the Château de Chantilly and the lovely medieval town of Senlis. 16 km from the Château and Jean-Jacques Rousseau Park in Ermenonville. 14 km from the Royaumont abbey. 20 km from the Chaalis abbey. 20 km from the Parc Astérix. Public transportion: There are two stations: - From Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles or Gare de Lyon stations in Paris, take the RER line D heading towards Orry-la-Ville and get off at “La Borne Blanche” (5 min from the house by foot). - From Gare du Nord station in Paris: take the TER direct line heading towards Orry-la-Ville or Creil and get off at “Orry-la-Ville”. By car: - From Paris, take the A3 motorway from Porte de Bagnolet or the A1 from Porte de la Chapelle, heading towards Lille then take exit 7 Survilliers-Fosses and follow the directions towards Senlis-Chantilly. - From Charles de Gaulle airport, take the A1 motorway heading towards Lille, then take exit 7 Survilliers-Fosses and follow the directions towards Senlis-Chantilly. For breakfast you can make tea or coffee in the chalet. I’ll bring you croissants and bread in the morning.
