Kitchen/Diner with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, dining table and chairs. Bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, washbasin and wc. Note: very steep Norfolk winder staircase therefore unsuitable for elderly or small children. First Floor: Bedroom 1 (front) with a double bed, Bedroom 2 (front) with a single bed, Bedroom 3 (back) with a double bed. Garden: front and rear fully enclosed patio areas with garden furniture and barbecue. Heating: Full Central Heating and Woodburner (basket of logs provided). Parking: on road in front of cottage. Also provided: Linen provided (Beds made up). Towels provided. Books and games. Pets: A well behaved dog welcome, downstairs only. Agreed in advance. Pet charge £10 per dog. Max 2 dogs. Owner lives nearby and happy to help out with any additional needs or queries you have. East Rudham is situated in a very pretty area of North West Norfolk. The village boasts a beautiful green with The Crown Inn, a great pub with an extensive seasonal menu, an excellent Butcher, a village shop and post office and is in easy driving distance of many Stately homes - Houghton Hall, Sandringham and Holkham. The market towns of Fakenham and Holt are nearby. Fakenham has an excellent market on a Thursday and has several large supermarkets – Tesco, Morrisons and Lidl. The Georgian town of Holt is renowned for its unusual independent shops. The sandy beaches of Wells, Holkham, Brancaster, Hunstanton and Holme are a short distance by car and of course there is excellent birdwatching at both Titchwell and Holme nature reserves. Regular bus service to nearby Fakenham (and onto Norwich) and King's Lynn. Coast hopper buses to Wells via Fakenham. Reasonable Taxi services available to book by phone. King's Lynn Railway Station goes to London via Cambridge. Steep winder stairs not suitable for elderly, people with mobility issues or young children. Only bathroom is located on ground floor and all bedrooms are upstairs. A well behaved dog welcome, downstairs only and not on furniture. Minimum 7 night stay (Friday to Friday) throughout weeks in July and August, also school holiday weeks. During other periods, 3 night (Friday to Sunday) or 4 night (Monday to Thursday) available. Minimum 3 nights for stays including Christmas Day or New Year.
